These Terms of Service govern your use of ClearPaw ("the Service"), operated by ClearPaw ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
ClearPaw is a tool that helps pet owners understand and organize information from their veterinary visits. It processes audio recordings, documents, and images to generate plain-language summaries, medication reminders, and answers to follow-up questions.
ClearPaw is a support tool, not a medical device. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of a licensed veterinarian for your pet's care.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@clearpaw.care if you suspect unauthorized access.
ClearPaw offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis.
You agree not to:
ClearPaw allows you to record audio of veterinary visits. You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consent from all parties present before recording. Laws on recording consent vary by jurisdiction. We display a consent reminder before each recording session, but compliance is your responsibility.
Summaries, extracted facts, and Q&A responses are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. They are based on the content you upload and are not reviewed by a veterinarian. You should always verify important medical information with your vet before acting on it.
ClearPaw's Health Q&A feature is designed to answer questions grounded in your vet visit documents. It is not a diagnostic tool and will direct you to seek emergency care when appropriate. Do not rely on it in place of emergency veterinary services.
You own the content you upload to ClearPaw. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your recordings, documents, or pet information.
You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
We aim to keep ClearPaw available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update the Service, or temporarily suspend access with or without notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearPaw and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated summaries or Q&A responses for veterinary decisions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
